Raise Your Game with the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG

The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG is the gaming monitor built for the discerning South African gamer who refuses to be held back by their display. Combining a 27-inch QHD QD-OLED panel with a 500Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, this monitor is engineered to close the gap between your reflexes and what appears on screen — making it an indispensable weapon for competitive esports players and fast-paced shooter enthusiasts alike.

Visual Clarity That Puts You a Step Ahead

The QD-OLED panel delivers a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, ensuring blacks are truly black and colours are vivid and precisely rendered. With 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage, true 10-bit colour (1,073.7 million colours), and a Delta E of less than 2, every scene is reproduced with stunning accuracy. VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification and HDR10 support mean highlights punch with up to 1,000 cd/m² peak brightness, while shadow detail remains visible at the darkest end of the spectrum — giving you a genuine tactical edge in environments where spotting an opponent first is everything.

Tired of Ghosting Ruining the Critical Moment?

At 500Hz with a 0.03ms response time, ghosting and motion blur are practically eliminated. ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology further reduces trailing artefacts, keeping your target locked and your crosshair crisp even during the most frenetic firefights. OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology introduces a luminance compensation algorithm that maintains consistent brightness during refresh rate fluctuations, reducing flicker by 20% compared to previous-generation panels — so you can play long sessions without eye strain compromising your performance.

Built to Last — OLED Longevity Engineered In

ASUS OLED Care Pro is a comprehensive suite of panel-protection tools designed to maximise the lifespan of your investment. The built-in Neo Proximity Sensor detects when you step away from the display and automatically transitions to a black screen to prevent burn-in, restoring content the moment you return. A custom heatsink and optimised internal airflow further reduce thermal stress on the panel. Pixel Cleaning, Screen Move, taskbar detection, and logo brightness adjustment work quietly in the background — all manageable via the ASUS DisplayWidget Center application. The monitor carries a full 3-year warranty, including panel burn-in coverage.

Rich Connectivity for Every Setup

The XG27AQDPG is built to integrate seamlessly into any high-performance rig. A DisplayPort 1.4 DSC input, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port with 90W Power Delivery ensure you can connect your gaming PC, console, and laptop without compromise. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports on the hub keep peripherals within easy reach, while a 3.5mm headphone jack handles audio output. The ergonomic stand offers tilt, swivel, pivot, and 110mm height adjustment, and the 100x100mm VESA pattern supports third-party mounting solutions for the ultimate desk setup.
