Command the Battlefield on a Machine Built Without Compromise

The ASUS ROG Strix G18 is engineered for the South African gamer who refuses to settle — a full-sized 18-inch gaming notebook that combines Intel's most potent mobile processor with NVIDIA's latest discrete GPU, all wrapped in an Eclipse Grey aluminium and textured chassis. Whether you're deep in a ranked session or rendering a creative project at midnight, this machine is built to push through without flinching.

Processing Muscle That Never Hits Its Ceiling

Tired of watching your frame rate buckle under a heavy workload? The Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX+ processor — 24 cores and 24 threads, boosting up to 5.5 GHz with 36 MB of cache — eliminates that bottleneck entirely. Paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU carrying 8 GB of GDDR7 memory, plus ROG's intelligent cooling system with MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the ROG Strix G18 delivers raw frame rates that match the ambition of the games you play. The on-board Intel AI Boost NPU adds up to 13 TOPS of dedicated AI performance for intelligent in-game and system enhancements.

A Display That Puts You Inside the Action

The 18-inch ROG Nebula Display is no ordinary panel. Resolving every scene at 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) in a cinematic 16:10 aspect ratio, it pairs a 300 Hz refresh rate with a 3 ms G2G response time and G-SYNC adaptive sync so tearing and stuttering simply don't exist in your world. With 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, 500 nits brightness, a 1700:1 contrast ratio, Pantone Validation, Dolby Vision HDR support, and an anti-glare IPS-level surface, this is a display that rewards every hour of play with visual fidelity the competition can't match.

Connectivity Built for the Modern Gaming Setup

The ROG Strix G18 refuses to be the bottleneck in your setup. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with triple-band support and Bluetooth 5.4 keep your wireless world running at peak speed, while a comprehensive port array — Thunderbolt 4 at up to 40 Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL, and a Gigabit LAN port — means every monitor, peripheral, and storage device finds a home. A 4-Zone RGB backlit keyboard with Aura Sync and a Copilot key rounds out a machine designed to be the centre of any serious gaming setup.
